Bittersweet glaze result: So, this is one of the best bowls Iโ€™ve ever thrown AND one of the most beautiful glaze combinations Iโ€™ve tried. It would have been ๐Ÿ˜š๐Ÿ‘Œ perfection. Unfortunately, someone elseโ€™s piece touched it in the kiln. Someone on the kiln team clearly did their best to rescue the piece, separating the pieces and grinding the โ€œwoundโ€ smooth, but I still might have to reglaze that part, with uncertain results for the rest of the piece. Refiring usually changes what the glazes looks like (not necessarily for the worse), especially when they flow like this. UNLESS someone loves this just the way it is and wants to buy itโ€ฆ the flaw is small and you could possibly not even notice it, or face that part to the wallโ€ฆ If you are that someone, please let me know soon, because I will get around to reglazing very soon if I donโ€™t hear from a buyer. Itโ€™s roughly 6.5โ€ in diameter, 3.5โ€ high, food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, even with the flaw. Price is $36 or BTC equivalent of $32.40. This is all you pay if we can coordinate meeting up somewhere in northern Virginia. Shipping anywhere in the U.S. is $12 or BTC equivalent of $12 Iโ€™ll definitely be exploring this and related glaze combinations some moreโ€ฆ itโ€™s so gorgeous on my speckled clay. #pottery #ceramics #glaze #clay #handmade #art #wrensnest #sale #grownostr
