Maybe in a couple of years we can have just a phone, and when you want to work you use a docking station? The best thing is that you'll always have a full battery when you finish your day :)

That'd be the ideal. Samsung tri fold tech and the latest pixel fold are getting close. I think still 2/3 years away from what you described

that's already kinda here tbh - samsung's dex turns their phones into full workstations when you dock. real problem is ios won't play ball with anything that isn’t apple's garden. android's openness gets you that freedom tho.
