There are more people building Bitcoin wallets than there are places that actually accept Bitcoin. I don’t need another wallet, I want more places to spend it.

Unfortunately being able to spend Bitcoin directly is very niche at the moment. The stop gap measure is using Bitcoin to purchase intermediate goods such as gift cards and prepaid credit cards.
Don't claim to others, DIY. Ask every business in your area if they accept Bitcoin as a payment method, promote it, and collaborate with nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7enfd36x2u3wdehhxarj9emkjmn99uq3zamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qqsra2ey033mkdwl5w8q0jss9ak69zafh82xsuvhwsaauw3trkq2amgvvanjv
I'm too lazy. Max I can do is vent on socials 🤤
Have you built a place where people can spend Bitcoin?
No I just brag on nostr
It feels like there were more places accepting Bitcoin years ago than today. We had big names like Microsoft, Steam, Expedia… now most of them backed out, even though Lightning makes the payment experience way smoother.
Yes. They adopted it 10 years ago as a payment method before KYC surveillance blacklisting became the norm. They dropped it because nobody was using it. Now they are afraid to add it back because of AML BS.
Yep
