They have brought so much hope and joy back to me. I was and still a bit deeply cynical but with them I was able to see the joy, wonder and magic of the world again. Same for me if I had been in my 20s with mine. Yes, she will shoot up and change just as fast as weeds. Pay attention to the cliches you use as she grows and laugh at it.

That's funny you said that. I literally told my wife the other day that I couldn't wait for her to start running around. Bonding time is important too. My wife had to get a surgery a month after birth so it was just me and baby girl for a couple weeks. Threw me right into the fire but a lot of bonding and learning came from it. Happy to hear they have brought you a lot of hope and joy back into life. Enjoy it, they still love you! That teenager stage now is around the corner where they start hating everything 😂.
