No one knows at this point, but I think maybe early next year. Just guessing though! :)

Is the core Svelte team aware/interested in Tauri? I'm very interested in performant Svelte+Tauri applications.
Sveltekit + Tauri is soooo good. Can’t wait for mobile support to be out of Alpha
For me I think it’s improved DX - we’ll probably see some of the syntax change a bit (for the better).
They are aware of it but the focus is on the web, I don’t think there will be any specific integration with Tauri, but at the same time it’ll be just as easy in v5 as in v4.
I think one interesting avenue to explore is a custom adapter for SvelteKit that outputs something that works well with Tauri. I’m not super familiar with Tauri so I don’t really know what that would look like
The devex of setting up Tauri with Sveltekit is super smooth, def recommend trying it out!
Just use static adapter and prerender and good to go
