What's the difference?
openbsd is rooted in security first. simple clean code, devs/maintainers of critical packages like openssh and pf.
guess it depends on your hardware. ive had problems with wifi and other closed drivers. works well for me on basic servers and thinkpads.
I love and use both. OpenBSD for targetted systems with more limited functionalities, but where security is critical, and FreeBSD when more features are required and I still need a very stable environment. Neither have ever been very well suited for laptop use though.
