Why is suffering so inherent to our nature? It's designed to bring us to the end of ourselves. It's the beginning of spiritual awakening. It's a blessing in disguise.

We all suffer until the second coming and the new earth.
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
People suffer to the extent that they don't appropriate the Kingdom of God and intimacy with Him.
