Hey dude, parenting comes in all shapes and sizes so take this with a grain of salt but my middle daughter had the same problem around that age. Took her out for a sonic drink after school one day and basically just told her that life is full of things we don’t want to do, yet have to. The key is to find the fun things and just look forward to those when things suck 🙂. So after that when I would pick her up or when I saw her after school I always asked her to tell me her 3 fun things from the day. Took a little coaxing at first but eventually she looked forward to telling me about her “3 things”. Eventually school wasn’t so bad because there were at least 3 things every day.
Just my two sats brother. The very fact that you had the stones to reach out and ask for advice to make your kids life better makes you awesome!
