I'm surprised more (any?) don't have it as a feature.
Yeah there should be a way to implement this in an ethos friendly manner
Corny Chat doesn't remove tracking strings as its a cat and mouse game, but instead provides two links when rendering.. one for everything prior to any querystring attachment, and another for the entire URL provided. Users can decide which link they want to click on by choosing between the front half or back half of the URL.
That’s clever. This way you’re also not inserting something that’s messing with inputs…
