In the version 0.56.4-2-froid from Onyx I don't get this problem.

It's using 30gb of my mobile internet per month, and I'm following less than 10 people, that's crazy. It's fetching the same messages everytime I open it. Maybe it should not fetch messages that I already read some days ago,.and stop fetching vídeos and images automatically or at least have an opt out for that if I'm on my mobile sim data. @Vitor Pamplona @npub1t0ny...jgqv

You drove the change (Thank you for the pressure) so I think it's good if Onyx continues to exist. Maybe Onyx ships with those defaults in false for now, but adds more features you like moving forward? Or maybe serves as a test bed for experiments you might want to do to take Nostr to the next level? I heard @iefan 🕊️ has other ideas that could be interesting to bring to life and Onyx could be the vehicle for that.
