These are so cool. I spend a lot of time thinking about making something similar. But with trees and woody vines planted around them. For the suger gliders mainly. They can only glide a short distance between trees

That sounds awesome. Have some friends that have a family of sugar gliders living in some trees by their house. They keep a bunch of peanuts by the door. When you approach the treeline with peanuts, they glide down from nearby trees and you can hand feed them.
