Yeah. Had the same annoyance when drinking a few beers at the pub and wanting to share a large download with a friend on the table.
Really felt as an intrusion of our space.
Didn't mention on the docs, but when you visit the security panel on the settings there is an option there to encrypt the whole data for your profile and files.
It isn't super private yet (still uses nsec instead of a human inputted password) but will already make life hell for Google to automatically try to crawl your personal stuff inside geogram. 😊
