Under U.S. immigration law, a green card can be revoked if the holder is found to have engaged in activities that threaten national security, support terrorism, or violate the terms of their residency. Similarly, a student visa can be canceled for criminal behavior or overstaying its purpose. The government’s case likely hinges on Section 212(a)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which bars individuals who have engaged in terrorist activities or are affiliated with terrorist organizations, broadly defined to include ideological support or incitement.

Oh it’s entirely legal, just not moral or right. Slavery was legal. The holocaust was legal. Marital rape was legal. You can designate just about any organization to “terrorist” and then broaden the concept of material support, and boom you’ve got the ability to strip rights from anyone you want.

I usually stay out of the political fray, but I'm curious, how is it immoral to invite an unwelcome guest to kindly leave? I don't see how it's comparable to slavery, genocide or rape.
