I'm not sure I understand your question? I imagine that data sets will be a natural follow up to this release/upgrade. Personally, the true test of this is if artists see payments. I could care less how many people listen to my music for free if just one person send's $10 that's more than most independent musicians make on spotify in a year. Most of the distributors give you very little data anyway so I'm done with the vanity metrics. Money is the barometer. Artists only need 1,000 fans to support them at $10 a month to change the game entirely. If fans moved their spending of $19.99 a month on Spotify (for millions of free tracks they never listen to) then we could change how music is discovered around the world. Buh-Bye middlemen! Hello revenue!

I just meant do Tidal send you trustworthy figures on plays? A way of verifying/proving you had x amount of listens would be great. As I understand it, we only have a platform’s word on listener plays and no way of verifying. Verifiable plays and direct payments is the holy grail as far as I’m concerned! I removed my own/band’s music from streaming platforms 2 years ago. I’m very much with you on this issue…
