Had to delete @SimpleX Chat from my Pixel. Constantly running in the background and draining my battery. Not promised.

you can change that in the settings, 3 different settings for its background activity if im not mistaken. im also running it on the pixel 8 pro with GrapheneOS
yep, had the same issue and changed the settingto Notification service > Starts periodically
it has to do this to serve notifications yeah.. because google notifications services are not private.
