I have personally never heard of this person. Read his wikipedia page. So he was using his “free speech” to be hate-mongering and fear-mongering. As well as denying that something is violent when it is. That’s going to have consequences. In a similar way, the USA claims to have “free speech”, meaning the federal government can’t do anything about it, but, everywhere else can (usually the workplace). 1st pic is the definition of “monger”. 2nd pic is from Wikipedia, describing his response to a question relating to gun-control of the types used in school shootings. He seems to be deflecting the question and bringing up a totally different topic, relating to gang violence, which usually has to do with poverty and socioeconomic inequality.

Why the urge to go here mongering character assassinations about a murdered man in a thread mourning him before his funeral? With all respects in threads like this it isn't the most graceful place to go victim blaming like this. "Free speech, but... he said.. that gonna have consequences." No. The US has a good federal standard for Freespeech. But in a truer sense of the concept Freespeech is about being able to speak without violent intervention from anyone / anything. Both bitcoin & nostr are built for removing ability to block speech. The final ground is boosting the culture that allows speech to be free. That's extremely important.
