I've thought of FOSS and freedom tech in general as being the digital commons, but without an appreciation of the independence of commons from the transactional market nor for the social bonds & obligations involved with their maintenance. The lesson of historic enclosure is an apt warning for us today, that we have a role to play in protecting this new commons & must be vigilant against the onset of complacency. This episode has got me thinking & wanting to get ahold of some of your books. Thanks
