It's almost like you can't draw a trend of what A:B is going to look like over time based solely on A's characteristics while ignoring B's.
The dollar is doing something very different than it has done in all of Bitcoin's history, and I swear it seems Bitcoiners en masse are totally shocked that this can happen.
Keep calm and read Larry Lepard's book. Or listen to Lyn. Or Luke Gromen. Or Nik Bhatia. Or Michael Howell.
The dollar goes deflationary sometime. It can't do it for long because that'd be disastrous and they have printers and fiscal policy and all that. But it does happen (sort of like it did in 2008, and very briefly at least threatened to in late 2019/early 2020 with the repo crisis). If everyone would stop panicking for a moment they'd remember what happened immediately AFTER those periods...
Lower prices accelerate the total coins going to addresses where they will live for eternity. π½
