If you make the custody tradeoff of Fedimint, you get nearly perfect privacy of Chaumian e-cash combined with the UX of LN speed. The downside is a 3rd party controllers. But all of this stuff is a tradeoff, and I don’t think sats should be allocated to any one of these systems one must trust those custodial carriers and bitcoin was built exactly opposite of trusting someone else. IMO Zerolink is the only non custodial solution that works today/code is being used now and in the privacy preserving way. There is no other protocol that can be used today with forward/backward looking anonymity set for the user.
