What does Nostr have to do with it? To post links to archive.org or share torrents, Nostr wasn’t needed before — and it still isn’t needed now. The work of Archive.org isn’t Nostr’s achievement. All Nostr can do right now is flood a couple hundred relays with spam.

I’m not even sure this data should be here. Nostr is a primitive protocol made for social projects and all those interaction things — why do we even need media here? So that 245 out of 250 relays crash right away? We’ve got IPFS 😆 — let them deal with the media.

It’s more the point that many clients don’t have any restrictions on the lengths of video playback

Because those restrictions are harder to implement 😄
