I am not. Just someone that has worked in tech for a long time and can identify hype cycles. Have long thought quantum is one. I'd love to be proven wrong. Doubt I will be in my lifetime.

Perspective and understanding is everything. The quantum computer was instantiated on 1/3/2009 and it’s been running ever since.
16 years later the world still has no clue what it is. Definitely in your lifetime 👀 you could use it today if you wanted.
