Amethyst does fork notes...
It's a note edited by someone other than than original notes author, I guess to kind of simulate community notes? đ¤

I think Vitor wanted to add this feature to create a similar experience to how the Wikis work in nostr
what is that "alt" thing?
Its a tag that describes what the event is for clients that don't know how to display the event kind
