Followers yeah it was always a problem. But my followings. The one I did follow ... keep disappearing... im now going again through it and i still cant load few people i follow ... grrrr

If it happened to npubs who are not connected, but since we are in touch it's really kind of harmful.

I don't know why it happens but it did happen to me too, so I now have a daily script run which backs up contacts and tracks changes. I have also seen a few times that people show as blocked when I haven't blocked them. This usually happens when someone I follow quotes someone else, I like it and go to check out that new account only to find I've apparently blocked it. 🤔

I have the same issue, and another thing is the same accounts following me over and over again, get notifications every day for the same 2 accounts. doubting that the really follow unfollow every day, somethings not working right haha

Definitely... I dont get any notifications at all about followings on Amethyst. Never a single one.

So weird. We're still very very early, that is the beautiful part of this story

Potentially try pruning some of your relays, it will cause delay as your client talks to each one then runs everything. Also there's hist.nostr.band relay which only backs up your followers
