I saw it again after decades, first time I was a kid, and this was probably the first I ever saw, for sure the first I remember of. Definitely not for kid.. 😅

Amira is the shit! It was on big screen in a funky art house theatre back when it was released. Blew my freaking mind. Still holds up. A masterpiece. LFG!
It absolutely blew my mind.. I vivid recall the scene about it becoming bigger, flesh, meat, fluid everything and a gigantic weird corp arising.. this scene was stuckes in my mind for decades.

To me this is probably one of the most overrated anime films there are. Visually astonishing for its time, and even by today's standards it looks great, but it really did not hit anything deep.
I saw it in the movie theater, I think it was 1992... classic indeed, and somewhat a preview of the state of things
