It's 1000 PH/s = 1EH/s, not 10,000.

Current hashrate on mempool.space is 455,300 PH/s (455.3 EH/s). Compare that to current hashrate on Ocean (314.3 PH/s). That represents about 0.069% of total hashrate which translates into the pool finding a block on average every 10 days. You are correct, this is very lucky, but not out of the realm of possibility.

You,re correct. .06% of the hash power. So 1 in 1,666.66 chance of winning the next block. Still pretty insane they found 2 in 48 hours.

2880 blocks in 2 days starts to not look as luck as I was thinking originally. 😆 Changes the numbers drastically when you screw up the phs to ehs conversion! 😛 oops

It's still very lucky. We should only be finding one block every 10 days, so getting two this quick is very lucky. But that's randomness!

Anything can happen with probabilities. Just thought it was a lot more amazing with my screw up on conversion. Well great for OCEAN to have that much if % of the hash already. Was thinking that's the big hurdle is to get over the .5% hash rate to make it attractive to more miners and bump over the viability threshold. Much closer to that than I thought. Maybe these first two are a little gift from Satoshi to get the ball rolling!
