He badly injured his leg when he was a wee lad, and his excellent mom created the space for him to heal. She slowed down so he could keep up and fished in non-prime spots to keep him safe. Is this what helped him turn into the gentle giant we see today? Backpack is one of the oldest of the contestants, and one of the biggest. Yet instead of picking fights and throwing around his weight, this guy prefers to sit on his favorite rock and dance for his beloved. In an environment that rewards male aggression, he chooses peace.
