It’s just wild to see the laziness and carelessness. She’s complained a lot about how unaffordable life is and I’ve explained that it’s only going to get worse. But there seems to be a comfort in mutual suffering. Her friends are all broke like her so it’s less bad 🤷‍♂️

If she had taken your advice and things improved, she probably still wouldn't be happy. I am at a stage that we can only do our own work and be an example to those who are interested. I still remember the videos of people trying to save people lining up to be jabbed and the hatred and contempt the had for them was unbelievable. Everyone has to walk their own path.
