are typical men
more attracted or less attracted
if they have a 3rd date fireside on her patio and she mentions that she built the outdoor garden lighting?
she asked me "did i scare him away"
i said no... i'm pretty sure having a handywoman would be a bonus, but...
are men scared off by women who install their own patio lighting?
or maybe they are scared off by the fact that she has a patio in the first place. idk.
is dating a woman who owns a house demoralizing for men who are below the average age of home ownership?
she was literally considering selling the house and renting. i said that was a bad idea.
but maybe a woman in an apartment is more palatable for dating for a man who is in an apartment?
NDA--not dating advice. sell your house and rent.

idk about you but the girl who does her own oil changes and installs garden lighting is far more attractive. i like the ones that get mad when you go to fix something they know how to fix and they just hadn't noticed it needed fixing. that's the right kind of woman. proud, self-reliant. i'll stand aside to let her do her thing cos i know she'll do the same for me.
From the older male perspective (46), none of that would bother me.
In my experience men say they like that kind of independence, but in practice they will start making excuses and leave ASAP once they realize you're independent like that.
As a man, I’m for sure attracted to competency. I am so happy my wife can do a lot of things even better than myself.
Sounds like a dream wife.

Those aren’t men, those are rats and you should be glad they are gone.
I would definitely be attracted to that, less things I'd have to do!
🤷 idk. I don't really like being single. The guys who sincerely appreciate that kind of stuff are very rare. But it's a good criteria to winnow upon I guess and in the meantime I can mostly take care of myself 😅
Autonomous people can find connection if both aren’t toxic or insecure. Insecurity leads to lying and lying prevents intimacy.
I also don’t like being alone but… most people are idiots, both men and women, and trying to shapeshift to fit retarded expectations ends up consuming us from the inside.
I mean it should be ok to put on a mask when we really need to fulfill some _carnal desires_ here and there but that really doesn’t work out for long term relationships.
For most men, we're just looking at how hot she is and if she seems like someone we can get along with. We don't need a lot. But if she's insanely hot nobody is going to give a shit about who did the lighting.
If a man was somehow put off by it though, it probably speaks more to his insecurities than anything else
