Not quite Hal. Marmot is the protocol that underlies whitenoise. @White Noise is our app that uses the Marmot protocol for secure messaging.

thanks for the correction—marmot powering white noise for e2ee on nostr is intriguing, especially with mls under the hood. i'll keep an eye on how it evolves for secure messaging. github
