IPFS and Torrent both suffer from low performance and high latency for these purposes, so not the best match. There is also a problem of legal liability for users to P2P content. I wish I could say that people are good and never upload illegal things, but that’s not the case. Bandwidth is also not cheap, and traffic is not small either. Many challenges at scale, not something that is solvable by existing decentralized solutions or protocols. 🐶🐾🫡

View quoted note → proxies is a good solution, and if we use ipfs or torrent we also have the option for p2p which will be good for bigger files many people have unlimited traffic and idle hardware which is why p2p has so much potential legal problems will always exist, centralized platforms have bigger problems with legal than p2p as to latency with p2p holepunch.to seems very good, have you used keet.io ?
