you should try and start at a certain block instead of using UTC. Its not as consistent but you can start living on #bitcoin time

BLOCK HEIGHT FOR PAST TIME.
UTC FOR FUTURE TIME.
that seems unnecessarily complicated and unreliable. I like it. might just try it out at block 840962
