True, and I think a lot of people need to remember that. This protocol is still comparatively younger than even Mastodon, so there are bound to be issues that need to be worked out before a wider audience will adopt the technology. I also think that AI bros need to stop adopting AI without any sort of caution or responsible thought. The sci-fi analogies might be a little far-fetched for now, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a very clear danger to the web, and to society as a whole, if we become overly reliant on AI... And sadly, we are on our way already.
