I have an iPhone 8 as well and it does work here. Shut down Damus completely (swipe away), open the link, click ‘on’ and restart Damus

It still did not do anything. Ignore me. I am on android as my main phone. Only have iphone because work gave it to me. So I forwarded the calls, and keep it silent on the desk always. Plus using it to test stuff. Almost always tests fail :).

But by physical design, I love iphone 8. For me it wins the 3rd place after Blackberry and samsung s4 Lite (both leather backs :) ).
