Thank you. I mostly write about traditional logic, so quality matters more to me than follower counts. However, I worry about what happens if relays go down or become highly centralized. If only a few relays end up running the network, I fear I might have to pay just to keep my data from being deleted. And if something happens to me down the road, all the legacy I left behind could just vanish. Is there a permanent solution for data longevity here?

Great questions. I’m not an expert but I think there are lots of relays that all replicate, and most clients give you an option to chose if you want to change the defaults. So if people notice a relay is censoring their reputation and usage should tank in theory. Nostr is still young, but I haven’t heard of any censorship issues here and I follow lots of freedom of speech champions that have been censored elsewhere. This is our biggest weapon here, being uncensorable.
Account legacy is about your nsec management. There must be good resources on this but I’m unfamiliar, I’m sure you’ll figure it out :)
