Privacy is not a needed core feature of money. And in your case perhaps even more important, won't protect against government overreach/abuse. Just like money neither will privacy nor the combination of those two will be able to solve everything.

Privacy is a core princilple of money, without private transactions you dont have soveregnity neither freedom. It alwas was, this madness to make money not private has less than 20 years, and look how we are. All history was made with privste money, but you now think that this prototype digital money that they made is the correct way to? This nonsense
Strongly disagree. Privacy in money is essential to a free (like in freedom) society otherwise all your transactions are observable and will be observed by those in charge and used against you if you don't follow their orders.
Privacy enables fungibility, which is a core prerequisite for money. There is only very little real money in today's world (thanks to digital fiat credit KYC expansion), so people like you don't know what's the difference between money and credit.
