First step is to source some kefir grains. You can buy them online but be careful of "powdered" fake kefir.
Once you get your grains you have to bring them back to life so to speak which is both simple and complicated. You simply feed the grains fresh milk changing it every 48 hours but you've got to watch for under and over fermenting.
Then once they are alive and active just strain off the kefir every 24 hours and enjoy. Keep feeding the grains with fresh milk. Any milk will do but it must have lactose so from an animal is necessary.
If you get some grains they have the instructions for activation with them so that's super helpful.
