If you post something that people feel is worth a dollar, then they can give you a dollar. If they feel it's worth 5 cents, then it's worth 5 cents to them. Everyone's situation is different.

Post something worth a dollar then

21 sats are more than a dollar to me. People are sending you a SOUND MONEY. You have to understand that first.

If you want to earn/charge more for your performances/thoughts, then create a portal/solution that allows you to do so. That’s the beauty of the Nostr protocol. Can’t even remotely do that on Twitter/Insta/Reddit/OF/PornHub/TikTok etc. Even though 10 or 100 Sats May feel small now, it’s still something of true value compared to a digital thumbs up for nothing. Think about the guy who spent 10 BTC for pizzas. At the time that was the value. It’s akin to a street performer working for tips. They don’t ask for a specific amount. People give what they can financially afford to do so and what they feel is warranted and that’s ok. Want to be Taylor Swift and make millions per show and be exclusive? Go get a record label deal and do a tour and be a slave to someone else. Want to work for yourself and be a creator, work hard and make your work valuable go do it. @jb55 gets zapped way more than me and he should because he built @Damus and took the risk and he’s being rewarded for the awesome app he built. That’s why this creator-value economy we’ve built is so important to us.

"Worth" is subjective there cowboy. Businesses set prices so cheapskates and dishonorable people don't take for free what a fair price should buy. Pay what you want doesn't work for 95+% of creator economies. And if it's not worth to a customer what the creator is asking , then move along or smile and nod.
