I want the Bitcoin gains. Not fiat. And everyone keeps saying I have the analogy wrong, but they can't explain why. Even though I explained why I thinks Bitcoin is better.. Give me the reasons so I could change my mind. Going all-in with Monero will never get me out of my fiat job because there's hardly any gains compared to Bitcoin. I've never met someone who would accept Monero as payment, while I can find a lot of people and businesses that accept Bitcoin. Non-kyc is good enough to keep private. And even if it wasn't so private, nothing bad could happen to my stack, cause I'm in control.

No kyc is great. but if you become under targeted surveillance they can find out who you are and your whole transaction history is doxxed. maybe not a problem for you, but its not optimal for people in unfriendly jurisdictions. it is also likely to be a attack vector if Bitcoin is successful and actually begins to threaten legacy banking. which is part of the reason why in the analogy, BTC is the bicycle. not the car. it doesn't protect its users. but if the most important metric to you is NOT privacy, but USD number go up, of course Bitcoin is superior. it is attracting VC and other Cantillionaires and they are happy to speculate on it. you say you want "BTC gains" but i gotta ask, what are those gains denominated in? also there are plenty of places to spend monero and virtually every business that accepts BOTH btc and xmr does more volume in Monero.
My gains are denominated in BTC. If I could, I would never exchange BTC for fiat.. I get the whole targeted surveillance thing. Most of my stack is very heavy KYC ๐Ÿ˜… I know I might be fucked, but I know they will never get their hands on my BTC and I'll gladly die knowing at least I did my best in bringing this cancer of a fiat system down.. I might check out a bit more about Monero, but if I'm honest, Idk if I will ever use it. (I'm always open to use it if it really is necessary to protect my stack or if some seller which I would want to buy something from only accepts Monero)
