Personally I don't intend to try anything like that with mine until there's something bothering me about it and I need a fix. But in truth I do not know. Maybe spraying some mink oil could help longevity but I've never seen any scientific study testing such things. I'm really not an expert, but I do feel like leather care is not as needed as the leather care industry will have you believe.
