So update on the VO2 max:
The guy who approached me at the gym I now believe was NOT asking me on a date at all!
He was just impressed by my athleticism and wanted to give me the Vo2 max, resting metabolic rate, lactic acid test.
It was pretty cool and I learned a lot. Got to hang out at the Velodrome!
I do not know if I feel rejected or if I take this as a compliment. I am grateful for the experience either way π

Seems like a compliment!
Little embarrassing to make the assumption π¬ but I learned the ratio of fat/carb/protein I burn based on my breath and that is really good to know! I was always guessing what my macros should be.
Thatβs neat! I just eat a lot of all three π¬
