Well, there were 'Bitcoin only' podcasts and shows. Ironically Richard Heart was one of them at that time, but he wanted to get rich, so he just decided to get rich🤷♂️. But i will give you that most if not just all of it was incrowd stuff already, nothing 'broad audience'/normie friendly i suppose.
It is true that things changed. "Crypto" got so dominant by 2016, that you were severly disliked for being a Bitcoiner for many years. Now it seems everyone atleast acknowledges Bitcoin, simply because it looks foolish if you dont.
As for the puzzle being complete, especially irt Eth.....meh, bitcoin-script was such an afterthought it seems, causing all these issues now where we kinda want to softfork, but perhaps never will. Not that it would have helped Vitalic and his world of warcraft woes per se, nor that Eth was a sound idea, but his frustrations with Bitcoin were atleast understandable; its burning out devs to this day🤷♂️
