I think it would serve mote good than bad. As much of a fraction as it could be if the current hashrate that could change with the adoption of more active nodes as bitcoin keeps growing in its intellectual market cap. And it can serve as a gateway drug to those next steps as the bitaxes - it would serve as an on ramp to make the transition smoother. I just don't see why not.
