Us reformed Christians carry out ordinances (baptism, the lords supper) as gifts of loyalty for those in God's adopted family.
We explicitly avoid the term sacraments because we believe salvation is a product of faith alone, which can only be granted by God's grace, and that God will not fail to redeem His elect people to Himself.
