Yes, Christians are all part of a new people and their souls are of equal worth in the eyes of Christ. But, this is also St. Paul: > A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. But women will be saved through childbearing โ€” if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety. (1 Timothy 2:11โ€“15) > As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to enquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in church. (1 Corinthians 14:33โ€“35) > Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Saviour. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. (Ephesians 5:22โ€“24)

But Paul was human and humans are fallible and can be wrong or i interpret revelation wrong. Take a position on any issue and a verse can be found to "support" it. Yay separation of church and state
