for anyone who missed it, notedeck actually has wifi broadcasting (multicast). anyone using notedeck/damus-android on the same wifi can recieve notes back and forth without an internet connection:

once we have our giftwrap DMs app this will be way more useful. all we need now is bluetooth and negentropy sync between notedeck nodes. soon? (tm)
