I'd like to offer you some solace. 3 data points suggest that theta neural oscillations afford a person access to an "altered state of consciousness". My research shows it's actually multiple different states of consciousness that are associated with theta neural oscillations. One of those altered states of consciousness is experiencing past life memories. I recently pitched this theta wave theory to a panel of PhD scientists who are actively teaching university science courses, writing academic whitepapers for peer review, writing a book, and reviewing the work of their peers. They loved it, and these people are not going to be interested in any theories that are devoid of scientific possibility. I think it may help to check out "Where Reincarnation and Biology Intersect" by Dr. Ian Stevenson MD or one of the books by Dr. Jim Tucker MD. Tucker inherited the research from Stevenson.
