A group of bitcoiners once asked me when we'd have Monero zaps on Nostr. It was a question to test my maxi level. I told them anyone can build whatever they want on Nostr.
Anyone can use a protocol however they want. Things will be as interoperable as they are mutually beneficial.
The thing about freedom tech is you can't stop or keep it any which way, people can do whatever they want, make ETFs or Google logins and nothing can be done to stop it
