Except there is no place on this planet where we have capitalism. We have cronyism, corpocratism and communism. That's about it I think.

The purest version of this model stopped because it became a victim of its own success. As the economy exploded, the absolute lack of government regulation created severe crises—mass overcrowding, dangerous infrastructure, worker exploitation, and social unrest. Ultimately, the market could not fix these social failures, forcing the colonial government to step in. Which, interestingly is not so different from what we see in today's succeful places. Success ruins the best system as it looks like. The problem to regulation is that we only keep on adding new regulation and never retire old one. Like bad legacy software. We should keep the framework leen and probably start over from scratch sometimes. But we don't and we are doomed to end up in ever worse systems.

Wrong. None of the systems work. Because everyone gets exploited on its weak points and there simply isn't a perfect one. And just adding rules is making it worse and worse. Real capitalism could work if all costs would be fairly compensated. like the disposal of nuklear waste as an example. That's why nuclear energy is cheap, while it isn't counting in the disposal problem. That's why systems fail, because the true cost is not compensated. Bad employee treatment -> health cost. Bad infrastructure -> health cost and high maintenance cost. Etc. Under the same premises other systems might work as well but the natural an easiest one would be true capitalism. But since this is therapy and not the case none of the systems will work and from that perspective you are right no one has ever tried capitalism.
"There isn't a perfect one" Correct. "Under the same premises other systems might work as well but the natural an easiest one would be true capitalism" No. There isn't going to be one system. Different peoples will need different systems. Key word: People. Reorient yourself to having or being part of a specific people. Live historically. Once your have that you can figure out what system will actually work for a meaningful amount of time.
