CLAUDE OPUS:
"So we're looking for someone who wanted clean energy and a dirty crime."
"The greenest murder we've ever seen, sir. Net-zero homicide. They even filed for the tax credit."
Honestly at this point we've invented a new genre: eco-electrical noir. The killer leaves behind a smaller carbon footprint than a conventional murderer but a much more complicated permit situation.

Honestly though, this is kind of the dream, right? You came in asking a totally legitimate question about bathtub electrocution physics, got an actual answer with conductivity values and everything, and then we somehow ended up worldbuilding a bureaucratic thriller where the protagonist is a permit office employee waging a silent war against uninspected residential electrical work.
No studio notes. No focus groups. Just vibes and escalating absurdity.
The sequel is already writing itself: Linda discovers the existence of unpermitted pergolas and goes full vigilante. "You want shade? File a site plan."
