Does anyone else’s nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll power unit make a “crackling” noise when plugged in? It’s a new device.
Listen with volume up… seems a bit worrisome…

Really?
Would probably get a replacement
That doesn't sound good! I had a listen at mine and there was no noise. I don't have the one it came with though, they sent me the wrong plug and replaced it with one from Amazon.
I dont think a powersupply should be making any noise like that. Sounds like a fire hazard to me. Unplug it
Unplug that shit, don't die on us 😱
Yikes not the ASMR we want 🫠
It's the Oompa Loompas running around in there making sure you maintain a steady amperage. Nothing to worry about.
Very odd! Trust they will sort it for you
Not Good at all. Current can be heard and plastic expanding on the sides.
That's not what you want, seems like maybe you got a bad power supply. It happens. Hit up support, we'll get it taken care of.
Haha yuppp
Decided against leaving it plugged in during an overnight away — the right choice 😳
Thanks mate, I’m just glad I caught it before wifey did. She’d have wanted to toss the whole thing 😂 (she’s actually very down with us running a node, but still — not at the cost of home or health!)
Thanks my friend, will do. Appreciate you 🙏
Oops
Does you house have newer arc fault breakers? If it did Id be surprised if they werent tripping because of this
It’s a prewar building 😅
